Do you have an idea for automating decision-making in Microsoft Fabric? Want to help others learn while showcasing your skills?
We’re launching the translytical task flow contest – a challenge to create and share reusable templates that combine insights with automated actions using User Data Functions (UDFs).
What’s a translytical task flow?
Currently in preview, translytical task flows are a new Fabric feature that enable Power BI end users to automate actions directly from their reports. With just a few lines of code, users can trigger alerts, enrich data, or initiate workflows in response to conditions they see in the report.
Need inspiration? Check out a few examples to get your creativity flowing and see how others are using translytical task flows in their reports!
What’s the contest about?
Your task is to build a task flow that demonstrates a real-world insight-to-action scenario using a UDF. You can use dummy data or fictional APIs – we want you to showcase useful and creative ways to elevate your reports with translytical task flows.
Winning submissions will be featured in the Translytical Task Flow Gallery highlighted in the lead-up to FabCon Vienna in September.
- Entry period: August 4–29
- Winners announced: September 16
